Individual Reformer Pilates sessions tailored for you.

Move with Confidence. Feel at Ease
At The Pilates Art Studio, every session is tailored to you—your body, your pace, and your goals. Whether you’re new to Reformer Pilates, returning to exercise, or prefer a quieter environment, you’ll find a space here that feels safe, calm, and completely focused on you.
Why Choose an Individual Reformer Session?
Group Pilates classes aren’t for everyone—and they don’t have to be. With private reformer sessions, you’ll experience:
- Individual attention every session
- Exercises adapted to your body and ability
- A calm, distraction-free environment
- Progress at your own pace
- Support that builds confidence, not pressure
Who I Work With
I specialise in working with individuals who want something more personal than a standard group class:
- Neurodivergent Clients: A supportive, structured, and sensory-considerate environment where you can move comfortably and confidently.
- Returning to Exercise: If it’s been a while, together we’ll gently rebuild your strength—no judgement, no rush.
- Older Clients: Maintain mobility, balance, and strength with Pilates training designed to support long-term wellbeing.

My Pilates journey began in late 2020. Like many people during the COVID lockdowns, I found myself less active and carrying extra weight. Living with Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, a progressive condition that affects lung function, has always meant that high-intensity aerobic exercise wasn't the right fit for me. I was looking for a way to improve my strength, fitness, and overall wellbeing without pushing my body beyond its limits.
That's when I discovered Reformer Pilates.
I was hooked from my very first session. What started as one class a week quickly became two, and before long I could feel the difference. My strength improved, my flexibility increased, and my coordination became better than it had been in years. Most importantly, I genuinely looked forward to every session.
A few years later, as a workplace restructure loomed, I found myself thinking about what I would do if my career took a different direction. To my surprise, the answer was clear: I wanted to become a Pilates instructor. That's how much I loved it.
With the encouragement of my instructor, I began studying, completing my Anatomy and Mat Pilates prerequisites before going on to gain my Reformer and Reformer Progressions qualifications. Although the restructure ultimately didn't affect my role, the experience made me realise how passionate I was about helping others discover the benefits of Reformer Pilates.
After retiring from corporate life, I decided it was time to take the leap and create The Pilates Art Studio.
My goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where people can build strength, confidence, and mobility at their own pace. I have a particular passion for working with those who may feel intimidated by large group classes, are new to exercise, returning after a break, or simply prefer a more personalised approach.
I know firsthand that Pilates can be life-changing, and I look forward to helping you discover what it can do for you.
